The highly-credible French reporter Hadrien Grenier claims that Leo Messi will leave Paris Saint-Germain except for an unexpected turn of events. Messi stopped considering his stay in Paris a priority after Barca representatives got in touch with him.

The only change could come from PSG’s owners in Qatar who decide to make Messi’s extension a priority. But even in that case, it’s not guaranteed that Leo would accept the offer.

The 36-year-old’s current contract with the Parisians expires at the end of the season. Barcelona are interested in bringing their club icon back and will look to present him with an offer in the coming days.
