Speaking about why it won’t be possible for Barcelona to make prominent signings in the January transfer window, Jordi Cruyff told RAC1: “The situation as of today is that we can not register players next January.
“Many things have changed and the issue of finding a space for financial fair play has become more difficult.”

At this point, it looks unlikely that Barca will sign players in the winter window and they’re likely to wait until next summer to strengthen their squad.

However, if they are able to sell some players in January, Barca should have the space to add new names to the squad – but it remains to be seen if that happens or not.
