“I think Pedri and Gavi do magic, they are at a spectacular level,” Spain midfielder Koke said ahead of his side’s game against Japan.
“You just give them the ball and they don’t lose it. Those of us who are older also learn from young people. They do things we don’t do.
“We see what they do well and what they don’t, we also tell them. But it’s spectacular to play alongside Pedri.”
Pedri and Gavi have started both of Spain’s games at the Qatar World Cup, with the latter even scoring his debut goal at the competition against Costa Rica.
