Xavi doesn’t consider leaving Frenkie de Jong out of the travelling squad for the pre-season tour to the US, Javi Miguel of Diario AS says. That is despite Barcelona pushing the midfielder to leave.

The only option for De Jong not to travel with the rest of the team is if Frenkie leaves the club. However, this scenario is seen as difficult since there are only 24 hours left to complete an agreement.

As per the latest reports in Spain, Barca have told the Dutchman that he has to leave. They are encouraging him to accept the offer from Manchester United with whom they have already reached a full agreement.
