Manchester United kicked off their 2022/23 pre-season campaign with a 4–0 win against Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday.
David De Gea started for the Red Devils, making a few impressive saves before coming off in the second half with a slight knock.
Although the Spaniard was his usual reliable self, it was the frequency with which he came out of his goal that impressed the supporters.
The 31-year-old seemed eager to play with his feet, showing that he’s more than ready to adapt to Erik ten Hag‘s style of play at Old Trafford.

The players I've been most impressed with so far are De Gea and Sancho.
Sancho keeping it simple and feeding players.
De Gea seems to have taken some pages out of Van der Sar's book. Keeps the ball simple when at his feet, pass sideways, throw to nearest defender.
