Frenkie de Jong says no to Man United in personal talk with Ten Hag

According to the reliable Oriol Domenech, Erik ten Hag, the next coach of Manchester United, personally called Frenkie de Jong to convince him to join the English club.
However, Frenkie’s response was negative. De Jong wants to play for a team that competes in the Champions League, which is not something Man United can provide.

As per previous reports, Barcelona could sell the Dutchman this summer as they need money to close the budget for the current season.

In the 2021/22 season, Frenkie recorded four goals and five assists in 46 matches for Barca.
