
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Saturday confirmed the rescue of one person, and the recovery of one dead person in a two-storey building that collapsed at Freeman Road, Lagos Island.
The Zonal Coordinator of Southwest NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, told newsmen that the building under construction collapsed during torrential rainfall.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that emergency responders were on their way to the scene of the incident at the time of filing the report.
