Popular Nigerian Music Producer, Samklef has taken to social media to call out Music executive, Banky W over unpaid royalties for Wizkid’s Superstar album.

Music producer, Samklef calls out singer Banky W over unpaid Wizkid’s ‘Superstar’ album royaltiesAccording to Samklef who is now based in the United States, he has taken legal steps and he wants 50/50 on the royalties.

Samklef took to Twitter to write;

“Claiming all my 11 years royalties for WiZkid super star album in a bit. My Laywers will reach out. It’s 50/50. Anybody wey don collect my money better reach out o! Samkef fine were o! Make dem tag Banky o! My money go don plenty o! Before him go use am campaign for election.”

Music producer, Samklef calls out singer Banky W over unpaid Wizkid’s ‘Superstar’ album royaltiesSamklef’s post comes on the heels of an unintentional controversial story that elicited from the interview Banky W recently had with Ebuka.

Recall that Banky W disclosed that Wizkid was on a 5-album contract with Empire mates Entertainment, but after he’d done the second album, Wizkid declared his intention to move on a do things his way.

Banky W then said he gave him his blessings and as we all witnessed, Wizkid has gone on to become one of the most popular Artist out of Africa and he is taking Afrobeats to new heights.
