Famous British pundit Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to clash with Gary Lineker over David Beckham’s status in world football.
Morgan: “Take away the crossing & free-kicks, he [Beckham] was a fame-hungry snail with dumb haircuts who only won that much because of the truly great players around him.”
Lineker: “Take away the crossing and free kicks? That’s the equivalent of saying about Ronaldo ‘Take away the goals’.”
Morgan: “Well no, because Ronaldo’s the greatest player in history and can do everything better than Beckham.”
Also Morgan: “Just to clarify, my opinion of Beckham’s football prowess is nothing personal… I think Messi’s overrated too.”

Well, that’s a clear Ronaldo fan in our books.
Seems like Piers Morgan only cares about those who score goals. Beckham was an unreal crosser who could’ve delivered a proper long ball out of every position on the pitch. Messi is the king of playmaking – yet it’s underrated by many for some reason.
