Bitcoin (BTC) slips back to $48,000 as the crypto market can come out of the woods and Ethereum approaches $4,000 in price. So read more today in our latest altcoin news.

After another attempt to regain the $50,000 price, BTC slipped back to $48,000 with all of the altcoin space also in the red.

Ethereum is close to $4000 and other significant losses from Cardano, Polkadot, Terra, Solana, etc. The major cryptocurrency had better days trading near $58,000 last week when it fell $16,000 for a couple of hours on Sunday morning. Despite initial success in making up some ground when it hit nearly $50,000 a day later, it has struggled since then.

The major cryptocurrency had some success in rebounding as it neared the $50,000 price range, but it has struggled most of the time since then, and the biggest upward momentum came to $52,000, but the bears refused to let it rise any further. They pushed the cryptocurrency south by a few thousand dollars and BTC stayed below $50,000 while BTC challenged the same price level for the past 24 hours, but to no avail. The rejection brought it to just over $47,000 a few hours ago and so far BTC has regained some ground, above the $48,000 price range but with a market cap of around $900 billion.
