The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has revealed the alleged deals Nigerian government signed with its Kenya counterpart for the arrest and extradition of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB alleged that President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta betrayed Kanu over financial and oil inducement from the Nigerian government.

Afriupdate News had reported that Kenyan government officials have dismissed claims of being responsible for the arrest of the IPOB leader.

“A spokeswoman for the Kenyan interior ministry said it was not aware of the matter, while the foreign affairs ministry in Nairobi did not respond to a request for comment.”

The separatist group claimed that the negotiations was midwifed by the Nigerian Ambassador in Nairobi who bargained with kenyatta and the Kenyan Immigration Authorities.

IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful disclosed this in a statement.

The statement partly read; “From our intelligence, Kenya betrayed our Leader because of financial inducement and offer of oil by Nigeria.

“The negotiations was midwifed by the Nigerian Ambassador in Nairobi who bargained with President Uhuru kenyatta and the Kenyan Immigration Authorities. Uhuru Kenyetta was blinded by the oil money offer and he consented to this wickedness.
