Many Feared Dead, Others Injured As Tanker Rams Into Ibadan Market

A gas tanker has reportedly killed 10 persons, injured a few at Bode market, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Afriupdate News gathered that the driver lost control of the vehicle around Idi Arere area and struggled with it until it got to Bode market, where the unfortunate incident happened.

Security operatives and men of the Oyo State Fire Service have moved to the scene to prevent further fire explosions from the gas tanker.

As of the time of filing this report, the state’s Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Uche Chukwurah is yet to react to the tragic incident.
