OFFICIAL: Venue for Chelsea and Atletico Madrid first-leg revealed

The Blues are not allowed entry into Spain due to Covid-19 rules.

Chelsea will play the first-leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest, Romania.
Covid-19 rules in Spain do not currently allow people coming in from the UK due to the mutated strain present in England.
Therefore, opponents Atletico Madrid have worked with UEFA to finalize Bucharest as the neutral venue where the game will take place on February 23.
The return leg will be played at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, March 17.
