Thomas Tuchel’s side aim to return to the top 4 – and City might lend them a helping hand.
Manchester City have been in the stellar form: since December 19, they’ve played 14 games across all competitions and won them all.
Chelsea will not meet Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League until May, so we don’t have to be worried about it.
Moreover, the Blues’ fans will be tempted to cheer for City in the coming weeks as they face virtually all of the remaining sides competing for a top 4 place in Premier League:
February 13 – Tottenham (home)
February 17 – Everton (away)
February 21 – Arsenal (away)
February 27 – West Ham (home)
March 6 – Man United (home)
They are also facing Leicester City in April, while they’ve just defeated Liverpool 4-1 this past weekend.
Man City are already 11 points clear of Chelsea and have a game in hand, so catching up with them would be a tall order – there is a point in wishing them well against the teams the Blues could beat more easily.
