‘Hard work continues’: Shoretire reacts to signing first professional contract with United

The 17-year-old says it’s a dream come true for him to sign the deal for his boyhood club.
Shoretire also trained with the senior United team on Monday after signing the contract.
After signing his first professional contract at Man United, Shola Shoretire wrote on Instagram: “It’s a dream come true to sign my first professional contract for my boyhood club!

“Such a proud day for me and my family. Thank you to everyone at the club and to my family who have helped me get to this moment. Hard work continues!”

Shoretire reportedly rejected interest from the likes of PSG & Bayern Munich to reaffirm his future at Old Trafford.

The midfielder also trained with United’s first-team squad on Monday, linking up with Amad Diallo and some other senior stars.

The 17-year-old is expected to continue playing for United’s U23s side, for whom he’s scored 5 goals and registered 3 assists in 13 appearances this season.
