Owen feels the Blues have looked more solid since Tuchel’s arrival.
Chelsea’s opponents Sheffield United have been in good form lately but are still favourites for relegation, feels the Englishman.
Owen suggests Tuchel will unlock Timo Werner who should score against Sheffield on Sunday.
“It’s two wins and three clean sheets for Chelsea under new boss Thomas Tuchel,” Michael Owen wrote for Bet Victor.
“The Blues have certainly looked more solid since the German has arrived, with Thursday’s win at Tottenham testament to that.
“They travel to the Steel City to take on a resurgent Sheffield United side. The Blades are putting in a late run to escape relegation, although they’ve probably left it too late.
“United have been impressive in recent weeks, however, Chelsea are growing in confidence and I think Tuchel may be the man to unlock the potential of fellow countryman Timo Werner.
“I reckon the German could notch here in an away win.”
Thomas Tuchel has added renewed energy since his arrival at Chelsea 3 games ago.
Werner, who helped the Blues win a penalty against Spurs on Thursday will be hoping to finally score in the league again.
The German striker’s last goal in the Premier League was also against Sheffield United – all the way back in November.
