The goalkeeper has made some more history with Chelsea having found their defensive stability under Thomas Tuchel once again.
With Thursday’s 1-0 win over Tottenham, Edouard Mendy has now registered 10 clean sheets in the Premier League in just 18 games.
The only goalkeeper to reach the milestone for Chelsea in fewer games is Petr Cech, who managed it in 15 appearances.
Chelsea have now kept three consecutive clean-sheets as the new system implemented by Thomas Tuchel has immediately made the Blues more solid.
Despite a few shaky performances during Frank Lampard’s final months, Mendy also seems to have regained his composure.
