The Red Devils recorded a mind-blowing 9-0 win against Southampton on Tuesday.
Solskjaer believes the Old Trafford performance was nothing short of ‘magic’ from his players.
Speaking on BT Sport, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “At half-time, I told the players to go and play the game properly, play it correctly and you will get chances.

“We shared the goals between the players. We have seen so many examples of teams that to down to 10 men closing up shop and getting a draw.

“We’ve been waiting for our players to show the magic and it was a night for them to go and enjoy it. You get lots of confidence from a performance like this.”

Up next for Manchester United, who are now level on points with Manchester City, is a Premier League clash against Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
