Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United exactly one year ago on this day, 29 January – and what a transformation we’ve undergone since then!
From being a highly inconsistent unit with holes in several positions, the Red Devils have emerged as a darkhorse in the Premier League title race this season.
To say it’s all down to Bruno would be a massive overstatement – however, one cannot deny that he’s had a significant role to play. The Portuguese midfielder is a hard worker and rarely disappoints on the field. Here are six reasons why he’s become such a popular figure among the fans:

The Red Devils lacked a player with a strong winning mentality for so long that we almost forgot what it’s like to have one.
Bruno filled that void and that’s what made most of us place our faith in him. And he’s not disappointed so far! He came to United to win trophies, after all.
