Puig says he’s a happy kid and he never loses his smile.
Even when he’s not playing, Riqui is thankful for his health and his family.
“I’ve never lost my smile. I am a happy kid. Even if I am not playing, I have my family and my health. If Koeman gives me minutes, I will try and take my chances. But if not, I will keep working hard. I am never going to throw in the towel,” Riqui Puig said after the Real Sociedad match.

“I have worked very hard to reach the first team, it cost me a lot, I always have the desire to play and win.”

Puig was subbed in for the extra-time against La Real and actually had a great performance. Besides, Riqui was the one to score the winning penalty for Barcelona.

This term so far, the 21-year-old has played 125 minutes across 7 matches for the Catalans.
