Xavi will become the general manager while Cruyff will be the sporting director
Victor Font has just presented his project if he’s elected Barcelona president next month and some names stand out.
Xavi will be the club’s general manager while Jordi Cruyff will become the sporting director, a position currently occupied by Eric Abidal’s former deputy Ramon Planes.
Ronald Koeman will remain the head coach – unless the 2020-2021 campaign ends badly. Then, Xavi will take over.
Garcia Pimienta will also continue as the Barcelona B head coach, earning Font’s trust.
Xavi has just won his 4th trophy as a coach of Qatari side Al-Sadd.
Meanwhile, Jordi, son of the late Johan Cruyff, has been working as Shenzhen’s head coach for just 4 months.
