Here’s how our players fared in another Champions League game this season.
Riqui Puig – 7.5/10
Some impressive stuff from Riqui who, as usual, brought a spark to our midfield tonight. In less than 30 minutes, Puig provided 2 key passes and was almost faultless at passing.
Jordi Alba – 7/10
Basically one of the few players desperate to make the difference today. Smart on the wing, smart while cutting inside, smart in the box. The way he linked with Leo Messi was almost perfect. Sadly, it didn’t turn into goals.
Lionel Messi – 6.5/10
Despite not getting any goals, Leo was trying hard to score. However, he was far from perfect in the build-up. Some of his passes were inaccurate and some of his moves were simply too risky.
Francisco Trincao – 3/10
Failed to offer anything to the team today. Absolutely anything. The Portuguese seems to have played a different game but not football. No creativity, no real chances.
Clement Lenglet – 2/10
Another poor outing from the Frenchman who conceded yet another handball foul and didn’t look solid at the back at all.
