Leonardo says he’s not bothered by Neymar’s comments about his desire to play with Messi again.
It’s normal to talk about Messi when one’s talking to an Argentine journalist, Leonardo explains.
The PSG official says they respect Leo but don’t want to discuss any transfer stories.
“They [Neymar’s comments] are for Argentinian journalists and when you do an interview in Argentina, it’s normal that you talk about Messi,” PSG director Leonardo has told RMC Sport.
“We have to respect Messi, he’s a Barcelona player now. It is not the time to think about the transfer window, we are very happy with the squad we have. Today, we have a lot of respect for Messi and for Barcelona. Now is not the time to talk about that,” he added.
On Wednesday, the Brazilian revealed that what he wants most is to play with Leo Messi once again. Neymar reportedly wants to have Messi at PSG instead of joining Barca himself.
